Katie has worked in the education and children’s mental health field for over fifteen years as a Private Practitioner, School Psychologist, Educational Therapist, and Child Development Specialist. During this time, she has worked with diverse student populations, including children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities, emotional disturbance, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, autism and aspergers, and children classified as gifted and talented. Through Katie’s professional experiences, she has assisted in creating supportive and accommodating learning environments based on students’ needs, which have in turn fostered their academic, social, and emotional success. Additionally, Katie has assisted in developing countless academic and behavioral interventions and has seen tremendous student growth and progress as a result of individualized remediation plans put into place. Katie feels passionately about helping children reach their full potential and seeks to empower students by assisting in the development of individualized interventions, tailored to fit specific student needs.
